Amarillo’s mission is the brainchild of its founder, Jeff Ansel. As someone with 20+ years of experience as a Certified Safety Professional who has operated in complex environments including oil refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and oil & gas facilities, Jeff recognized the need for new safety technologies to guide, automate, make transparent and document safety processes of all kinds. Jeff chose LOTØShield as Amarillo’s first safety technology because proper lockout tagout operations are essential to safety in every environment. While LOTØShield pioneered the category, and others have since followed, no solution matches its depth, reliability, and innovation.
